In any year Dominic performs as many as 20 opera galas in various forms, many with piano accompaniment but a lot also with Orchestra, some of the main orchestras include the BBC Concert Orchestra, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, and the Australian Pops Orchestra in major concert venues across the world, including the Concert Hall in Glasgow, Caird Hall in Dundee, Queen Elizabeth Hall in London. There are also many corporate events that have been most enjoyable in venues such as the Institute of Directors in Pall Mall, London as well as St. John’s Smith Squarefor charity concerts.
Some of the artists and promoters he has had the pleasure of working with in these concerts include: Rosalind Plowright in an orchestral gala of Verdi highlights; Naomi Harvey, Diana Vivian, Julie Unwin, Wynne Evans, Mark Evans, Mark Luther, Mike Dewis, Eddie Wade and Jenny Trew in Pure Puccini concerts in dozens of venues across the UK and British Isles.; Christine Bunning, Gavin Carr, Catherine Mikic, Mark Stone, Louise Cannon; Raymond Gubbay.
In 2001 he was involved in a magnificent outdoor concert in the Hunter Valley in Australia with an audience of over 5,000 under the stars. It was a magical evening with Joanna Cole and Jonathan Summers. This was an especially busy year for galas, with Bellini, Puccini and Verdi tribute concerts throughout the UK.
